Hey HN, I’m open sourcing my Hurston-1 narrowband TTS model (Apache-2.0). It is very good with American English and does especially well with Southern American and Regional African English accents. Destined AI is based in Atlanta, and I built this because I’m amazed by what AI can do, and I wanted to help introduce and welcome more people to feel comfortable using and interacting with AI. Since 2021, I’ve been collecting fully consented voice data from over 20,000 people, 1M audio recordings, and over 1,800 hrs of audio captured to date. freehire is a filterable, job board aggregator, job tracker, and AI-assisted resume tailoring tool. Saving your skills and preferences changes which jobs appear and how your resume gets tailored. I’ve looked at a lot of these solutions over the years and found it really hard to find the right mix of tools in an open-source offering. I’ve contributed to a few issues now and worked closely with the maintainer. I’ve watched this evolve over the last few months. I feel it’s ready for everyone to check out and stress test. arXiv:2610.31810v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Even a carefully proofread paper can leave small gaps in its proofs or its stated assumptions. We introduce PaperFormalizer, a Lean-based agentic pipeline that helps authors find and close such gaps in their own papers and turn each paper into a Lean-verified version. We study execution-time reliability of tool-using AI agents, isolating recovery decisions from language-model behavior.
